Dr. Pamela Gurley is a doctorate-level organizational change strategist, authority builder, speaker, author, award-winning motivator, and social impact leader whose work sits at the intersection of leadership, literacy, storytelling, publishing, and transformation.
With more than 26 years of leadership experience, including 14 years of federal service and executive-level experience as a GS-15, Dr. Gurley brings a powerful blend of strategy, lived experience, scholarship, and purpose to her work. Her background spans organizational and strategic development, budget management, global leadership, publishing, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and change-centered communication.
Today, Dr. Gurley helps leaders, authors, entrepreneurs, and organizations turn voice, story, and strategy into authority, visibility, and lasting impact. Her work is rooted in a simple belief: when people understand the power of their voice, they can lead change, challenge limitations, and create meaningful transformation in their lives, communities, and organizations.

Dr. Pamela Gurley’s journey is one of leadership, reinvention, service, and voice.
Before becoming a full-time entrepreneur, Dr. Gurley built a 26-year career across leadership, budget management, organizational development, and strategic operations. She served 14 years as a civil servant with the United States Federal Government, holding roles across the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; Department of the Army; Department of Defense; Department of State; and the Merit Systems Protection Board. Her work extended across seven countries and four continents, giving her a global perspective on leadership, communication, systems, culture, and change.

In November 2020, Dr. Gurley transitioned from her federal career as a GS-15 to pursue entrepreneurship full time. That decision expanded her work into publishing, speaking, literacy advocacy, authority building, and social impact.
As an author, Dr. Gurley has used writing as a tool for empowerment, representation, and transformation. She released her first book, I Am Not A Stereotype: I Am H.E.R., in November 2019, followed by her Amazon Best Seller, Bl@ck Girl Activist, in March 2021. She later expanded her literary impact through the Brown Girl and Brown Boy multilingual children’s book series, creating stories that support literacy, identity, confidence, and representation for young readers.
A retired United States Army Veteran and lifelong learner, Dr. Gurley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master’s in Health Services Administration, and a Doctorate in Management with a concentration in Organizational Development and Change. Her academic background, leadership experience, and creative body of work all inform her mission to help people and organizations lead with clarity, communicate with purpose, and build authority that creates lasting impact.
Today, Dr. Gurley’s work continues through speaking, publishing, organizational change strategy, authority building, literacy advocacy, and media. Across every platform, her mission remains the same: to help people recognize the power of their voice and use it to create change that matters.
